- These figures are provided for temperatures between +23±2 ºC and for 50±5% relative humidity.
Surface Preparation :
The surfaces shall be clear of substances that may prevent adherence such as dust, dirt, paint, mud, etc. Gaps, cracks or points where active water leakage is experienced should be exposed till firm ground is reached. The application surfaces should be dampened.
Application:
- Add adequate amount of powder Lanko 224 Ertobloc waterproofing mortar (1kg powder/0,2-0,3 liters of water) according to the size of the area to be filled into a clean pot filled with the indicated amount of water and mix by hand until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained.
- Always wear rubber gloves during this procedure.
- Shape the prepared mortar and fill the area to be plugged by hand by applying pressure and hold still until the mortar starts to harden. During this procedure the material shall not be rubbed or chafed.
- Areas with high volumes of water leakage or hollow depths may be plugged by applying few layers of the water.
- After the application, the application surface should be left to settle for 15 minutes, should be dampened, cooled down and cured.
Consumption : To obtain 1 liter of fresh mortar, 1,7 kg of powder Lanko 224 Ertobloc is required.
Storage Life:
The expiry date is 6 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package in a dry environment and has not been exposed to direct sunlight and frost.
Safety Precautions/Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added in the prepared mortar.
- The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
- Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods, very hot surfaces and frozen surfaces.
- Always wear rubber gloves during the application.
- Wash the used tools with plenty of water after the application.
- Do not breathe the dust of the product since the powder ingredient is cement based. Avoid contact with skin and eye and wash with plenty of water in case of contact.
