Areas of Use : This product is used horizontally and vertically and only on the positive side for
water and damp proofing wet surfaces such as water containers, pools, water tanks,
reservoirs, foundations, basement walls, terraces, flumes and retaining walls,
kitchens, balconies and bathrooms.

Surface Preparation :
The application surface should be sturdy and clean and cleared off all substances that may prevent adherence such as surface molding grease, dust, dirt, paint, detergent, etc. All imperfections and protrusions on the surface shall be repaired with Parexgroup repair plaster before the product is applied. Sharp corners and joints of structural members shall be chamfered. The application surfaces should be dampened and water-logged before application. The application surfaces shall be undercoated with Lanko 124. There shouldn’t be any ponds and ponding should not be allowed.
Application :
- Pour Esumort K11 Flex’s liquid component into a clean pot, mix at a slow-speed and add Esumort K11 Flex’s powder component slowly to this mixture. Mix until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained. Wait for 5 minutes for the water bubbles occurring as a result of mixing disappear.
- The mixture obtained shall be dampened and the mortar shall be applied with the help of a brush or trowel until 0,75-1 mm thickness is reached onto the water-logged surface. After the first layer settles approximately for 2-3 hours, the second layer shall be applied perpendicularly to the first layer. In total.
- If the product is to be applied with the help of a trowel, irregular and rough surfaces should be flattened before the application.
- The surface shall not be exposed to direct sunlight, rain and shall be protected against frost at least 2 days before and after the application.
- The floors that will be walked on should be coated with decorative coatings such as cement finishes, ceramic, porcelain, etc. 2 days after the application.
- No water should be added while the mixture is being prepared.
Consumption :1.6 -2.5 kg/m² (when applied with a thickness of 1 mm)
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 8 months for the powder component and 12 months for the liquid component from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package in a dry environment and has not been exposed to direct sunlight and frost.
Safety Precautions / Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added in the prepared mortar.
- The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
- Do not use under direct sunlight, rain or during strong winds.
- There shouldn’t be any pond on the surface where water can accumulate in and ponding should be prevented.
- Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods, very hot surfaces and frozen surfaces.
- The surface shall be dampened and water-logged before application.
- Wash the used tools with plenty of water after the application. The dried parts shall be cleaned with mechanical means.
- Do not breathe the dust of the product since the powder component is cement based. Avoid contact with skin and eye.
