- These figures are provided for temperatures between +23±2 ºC and for 50±5% relative humidity.

Surface Preparation :
The application panel should be clean and dry. Plastering should be carried out at least 48 hours after the affixing of the panels.
Application :
- Slowly add 25 kg’s of Optimum Plaster Thermal Insulation Panel Plaster to 6-7 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained. Wait for 10 minutes for settling, and then mix for another 1-2 minutes then apply.
- The plaster mortar should be applied with a 10x10mm toothed steel trowel. Corner and window profiles should be mounted. Window and door corners should be reinforced with a traverse plaster netting. The Gesterm plaster netting should be 10 cm overlapped on the joints and junctions and embedded (approximately for 1-1,5 mm) into the surface before the plaster dries with the help of a trowel and close to the outher facades and the plaster surface should be smooth.
- Thickness of the plaster should be approximately 4 mm after the application.
- For temperatures above +25 ºC, in order to prevent sudden water loss and ensure smooth setting of the plaster, the surface should be watered at regular intervals.
- The application shall not be carried out under direct sunlight, rain and during heavy winds.
- The prepared mortar shall be used within maximum 3 hours’ time.
Consumption : 4.5-5 kg/m²
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight, humidity and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.
Safety Precautions / Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
- The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
- In order to extend the durability of the product, the surface should be watered at regular intervals after application depending on the weather conditions.
- Do not apply under direct sunlight.
- Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods or that are very hot or frozen.
- Do not inhale the dust of the product since the material is cement based; avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
