Surface Preparation :
- In order to obtain a smooth surface, remove all loose and damaged concrete formed on the surface with the help of cutter or leveler.
- All loose concrete parts around the concrete reinforcement should be cleared off and more empty space should be obtained in order to apply the product behind and around corroded reinforcement parts.
- The surface areas to be repaired should be clearly selected.
- Rust gathered on the reinforcement should be cleaned by scraping and brushing off or by sandblasting.
- The surfaces onto which this product will be applied to should be clear of all grease, dust and dirt before commencing the application.
- Dampen the surface before application.
- If reinforcement parts are to be protected with a mortar less than 10 mm thick, in order to protect such iron bars from corrosion, Lankorep 731 and Geser Latex should be mixed and applied.
Application :
- Slowly add 25 kg’s of Lankorep 731 to 4.25-4.5 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer. Operation time at 20ºC is around 45 minutes after mixing.
- Lankoprep 731 should be applied with a trowel and in order to ensure perfect adherence, should be tightly pressed. For thick applications, apply more than one layer and in order to ensure adherence between layers, follow the procedure above. The repaired area should be leveled with a trowel.
- Do not add water to fresh mortar during application.
- For application to larger areas, the mortar may be applied by spraying.
Consumption : 2 kg/m² (When applied at a thickness of 1 mm)
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.
