Surface Preparation                                  :

The surface should be clean, sturdy and clear of dust, grease, etc. All loose parts on the surface should be scraped off until the substrate is reached. In order to ensure perfect adherence of the material to the surface, all coatings, grease, oils and curing materials on the surface should be cleaned. Chemical cleaning or cleaning with the help of acids should be carried out.

Application                :

• Slowly add 25 kg’s of Lanko 702 to 4 to 5 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer (max. 600 cycles/min.) for at least 3 minutes until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained.
• Immediately after mixing pour the material onto the prepared and finished surface. Remove the air bubbles in the mortar by tampering.
• Maximum application thickness is 40 mm. For applications thicker than this, Lanko 702 Calfarge should be mixed by 3/8 weight (3 kg aggregate/8 kg powder) by Dmax 8-10 mm aggregate. The materials should be poured on the prepared surface, and the leveled and applied. Since the cement ratio will decrease due to the addition of an aggregate, strengths and resistance values might be reduced around 20-40%.
• The prepared mortar should be consumed within 40 minutes.

Consumption             :For 1 m³ mortar, approximately 2000-2100 kg powder is required

Storage Life   :

The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.

Safety Precautions/Warnings:

• Use between +15 Cº and +35 Cº.
• No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
• The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
• Do not apply under direct sunlight.
• Use cold water for the mixture when applied at high temperatures.
• Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods or that are very hot or frozen.
• In order to prevent the mortar from drying too fast after the application, either apply Gesercure R1 or dampen the surface after 15 to 30 minutes.
• Do not inhale the dust of the product since the material is cement based; avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
