Surface Preparation                                  :

The surface should be clean, sturdy and clear of dust, grease, etc. All loose parts on the surface should be scraped off until the substrate is reached. In order to ensure perfect adherence of the material to the surface, all coatings, grease, oils and curing materials on the surface should be cleaned. Chemical cleaning or cleaning with the help of acids should be carried out.

Application                :

• Slowly add 25 kg’s of Gesergrout 670 Rapidex to 3.25 to 3.5 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer for approximately 3 minutes until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained.
• Maximum application thickness is 3 cm. For applications thicker than this, Gesergrout 670 Rapidex should be mixed by 3/8 weight (3 kg aggregate/8 kg powder).
• Pour the material onto the prepared surface, level and apply with a trowel.
• The prepared mortar should be consumed within 20 minutes.

Consumption             : 1.9 - 2 kg/m² (when applied at a thickness of 1 mm)

Storage Life   :

The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.

Safety Precautions/Warnings:

• Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
• No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
• The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
• Do not apply under direct sunlight.
• Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods or that are very hot or frozen.
• Use cold water for the mixture when applied at high temperatures.
• Dampen the surface before the application.
• In order to prevent the mortar from drying too fast after the application, either apply Gesercure R1 or Lankocure PR2 or dampen the surface without wetting it.
• Do not inhale the dust of the product since the material is cement based; avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
