Surface Preparation :
The surfaces to which this product will be applied to should be clear of substances that may prevent perfect adherence such as form oil, dust, paint, dirt, detergents, etc.
Application :
- Slowly add 25 kg’s of Gesergas 520 aerated concrete bonding plaster to 7 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer until a pellet-free mixture is obtained.
- Wait for 10 minutes for settling, and then mix for another 1-2 minutes then apply.
- The adhesive mortar should be applied with a toothed trowel to horizontal and vertical surfaces. The places aerated concrete should be rammed from above and from the sides into its place.
- During bonding, the joint sections of columns and partitions with the aerated concrete block should be ensures with Gesergas 520.
- Do not apply under direct sun light, rain and during strong winds.
- The prepared mortar should be consumed maximum within 3 hours.
Consumption: 1,5 - 2 kg/m² (when applied at a thickness of 1 mm)
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.
Safety Precautions/Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
- The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
- Do not apply under direct sunlight.
- Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods or that are very hot/cold or frozen.
- Before affixing, the concrete blocks should be dampened.
- Do not inhale the dust of the product since the material is cement based; avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
