Application Information:
Application Temperature : (+5°C) - (+35°C)
Application Thickness : 3 - 10 mm
Operation Time : 30 minutes (20°C’de)
Mixing Ratio : 5-5,5 lt water / 25 kg powder
Pot Life : Max. 45 minutes
Tiling Process : After 48 hours
Suitable for walking on : After 5 hours
Surface Preparation :
The surface should be sturdy, should not have cracks and clear of substances preventing good adherence such as form oil, dust, paint, grease, detergents, etc. All imperfections on the surface should be repaired with Parexgroup repair mortars before the application. For smooth surfaces, chiseling process should be carried out. For perfect expansion and adherence all surfaces should be undercoated with Geseras EM2.
Application :
- Slowly add 25 kg’s of Geselfing 600 to 5 to 5.5 liters of water in the mixing container and mix with a slow-speed mixer (400-600 cycle/min.) for approximately 3-5 minutes until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained. Wait for 5 minutes and then mix for another minute and apply.
- The mixture can be spread on prepared substrate surfaces with the help of a toothed trowel. The mortar should spread and level evenly.
- The application should be finished in 20 minutes.
- During the setting period, no water should be added to the mortar and the air on the surface should be removed with a spiked roller. Further, if necessary after the application, air bubbles can be removed by rodding method and bubbling after setting can be prevented.
- The prepared mortar should be consumed within 30 minutes.
- This product is not suitable for slopes and platforms more inclined than 0.5%.
- If more water than the recommended amount is used, air bubbles, phase segregation and lower strength may be observed and therefore, mixing ratio should be strictly observed.
Consumption : 1.70 kg/m² (when applied at a 1 mm thickness) (May increase due to smoothness, type and inclination of the surface).
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 8 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.
Safety Precautions/Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
- The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
- Temperature changes will change the pot life and drying time.
- Do not apply under direct sunlight.
