Description : Geser Latex is a ready-to-use liquid emulsion that ensures water impermeability, flexibility and resistance to chemical substances and that decreases formation of capillary cracks by increasing cohesion within the mortar due to its copolymer structure.

- These figures are provided for temperatures between +23±2 ºC and for 50±5% relative humidity.
Surface Preparation:
Application surfaces should be clear of all substances that may prevent perfect adherence such as grease, dirt, rust, old coatings, loose parts, etc. and should be moistened and waterlogged.
Application :
- For adherence: Mix Geser Latex with water with a ratio of 1/1 and mix until a homogenous mixture is obtained and then add cement to this mixture. The cement grout obtained should be applied with the help of a brush or should be poured onto the surface. Do not apply the Geser Latex grout directly to the surface for tile and ceramic affixing applications. For perfect adherence the Geser Latex/water mixture should be applied onto the surface as an undercoat.
- For waterproofing and repair: Geser Latex/Water 1/3, cement/sand 1/1
Use clean, washed materials with fresh binding agents and suitable particle compound. The dimensions of the sand particles should be selected according to the thickness of the mortar.
<2 mm : 0-0,5 mm
2-5 mm : 0-1,0 mm
5-15 mm : 0-3,0 mm
>15 mm : 0-7,0 mm
- For repair mortar applications: In order to prevent sudden water loss under hot weather conditions and to eliminate the formation of shrinkage cracks, add an amount equal to 10% of the weight of the powder to the mortar.
Storage Life :
The expiry date is 12 months from the date of production provided that it is stored in dry environment in its sealed (unopened) original package and is not subject to direct sunshine and frost.
Safety Precautions / Warnings:
- Use between +5 Cº and +35 Cº.
- No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
- Do not over-mix in order to prevent air-entrainment.
- Moisten the surface before application.
