Surface Preparation                                            :

Application surfaces should be clear of all substances that may prevent perfect adherence such as grease, dirt, rust, old coatings, loose parts, etc. and should be moistened and waterlogged.

Application                :

• Slowly pour Gesergrout 660 straight out of its 25 kg bag slowly into the mixing pot where 3-3,5 liters of water has been placed and slowly mix for approximately 3 minutes with a slow-speed mixer until a homogenous and pellet-free mixture is obtained. The prepared mixture shall be left to settle for 3-4 minutes and then mixed for a while and poured into the mold.
• Filling process should be carried out only from one side of the mold and without any breaks in between.
• In order to fill all the gaps in the mold, twist the thin end of a flexible bar into a hook and dip into the mortar, move forwards and backwards to fill the gaps. Do not use a vibrator for placement purposes.
• 18-24 hours after the application, the molds can be taken out and the surface should be covered with wet bag or by using a curing material in order to protect it against fast evaporation for 48 hours.
• The prepared mortar should be consumed within 45 minutes.

Consumption             : For a thickness of 10 mm, use 19 to 20 kilograms of powder.

Storage Life:

The expiry date is 8 months for the powder component from the date of production provided that it is stored in sealed (unopened) original package and not subject to direct sunlight and frost and with maximum 8 times piling.

Safety Precautions/Warnings:

• Use between +15 Cº and +35 Cº.
• No foreign substance may be added to the prepared mortar.
• The expired mortar should not be re-used by mixing with water or dry mortar.
• Do not apply under direct sunlight.
• Use cold water for mixing when applying in high temperatures.
• Do not apply on surfaces subject to sunlight for prolonged periods or that are very hot or frozen.
• In order to prevent the mortar from drying too fast, apply Gesercure R1 or Lankocure PR2 to the surface or moisten the surface 15-30 minutes after application.
• Do not inhale the dust of the product since the material is cement based; avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
